When life gets tangled into knots, it is easy to keep pushing and tugging and trying. After all, most people are taught that success takes effort and discipline. You have to keep striving, keep pushing, keep going to get to the next level, etc. Most of the time you just end up exhausted, unhappy, unfulfilled, and unmotivated.
How about trying a new way? How about clearing your mind and heart for what’s next?
Easier said than done sometimes
And, it’s also the best thing you can do.
Last week I learned about some breathing techniques and a “clearing your mind” exercise to allow your heart to speak. It sounds deep and meta-physical, maybe even a little weird in our logical, analytical business lives.
It is actually amazing what you hear when you slow down, breathe deeply, and listen.
